Breathtaking Photos of Asian Landscapes And People By Weerapong Chaipuck

____________________________________

Asia is a land of fascinating nature, history and traditions, and this is exactly what photographer Weerapong Chaipuck captures on camera and shares with us in his stunning images. The Thailand-based photographer found his brand new passion for this visual art only after an early retirement from the medical profession, which makes his amazing photographic accomplishments all the more impressive. His pictures of Asian landscapes and rural residents demonstrate not only the pure marvel of an unknown world but also his own talent and sensitive eye for beauty.

To create a project, you must do homework about the place; which season and period of time are optimal for taking photographs, what is the vantage point, which lens should be used, and what your post production process is going to look like” explains Chaipuck.

"My sexuality just doesn’t play a very big part in my life like that. It’s much more of like, an animalistic, pure thing, and I struggled with understanding it my whole life because I felt more connected to male artists, rock ‘n’ roll, and glam culture. Femininity, the way that I learned about it growing up, I just didn’t feel comfortable in it. Like today, we tried wigs on, and the ones that were more girly or pretty, I felt uncomfortable because that’s not how I see my music. There’s a certain power in ignoring any sort of pretense about sexual orientation or gender. To me, a canvas doesn’t have a gender, so if you’re a vehicle, you have to annihilate all of those pre-conceived notions."

Today I learned that in Greek Mythology their were a group of gods who were commonly associated with Aphrodite and basically they were angels except gay and would put homoerotic thoughts into people’s heads and just cause chaos and trouble in their free time. They were called the Erotes and the most famous from the group is Himeros, son of Aphrodite, and God of Sexual Desire.
